Welcome to Lake George in Mass.

The watershed of Lake George encompasses many many acres (the lake itself is 93 acres) and includes the land surrounding Lake George, inlet streams, underground springs, and the streams and ponds that make their way into Brimfield.

The Town of Wales has the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining these waterbodies; however, it must also be protected by the individual property owners who reside, own property, or run businesses within its boundary.

We hope to help you to understand your part in maintaining the quality of the water and to provide you with the rules and regulations governing the use of the lake.
